How do I allow a PC to access a network for the printer only?

I have a network with several PCs and a printer wired to the network. . The router is a Sonicwall TZ 170 wireless and I want to add a PC somewhere else in the house with a wireless card. However I want that PC to be able to print to the Network Printer, but not be able to access the network’s internet connection or the other PCs on the network. How can I accomplish this through the router or external software?

One thing you can do is to make sure the pc is not in the same workgroup. That way it shouldn’t be able to see your network. As for not accessing the internet, you could give it a false default gateway so it won’t be able to find your router to access the internet.

Another thing to mention about the network access is to use permissions on your shared folders. Make sure instead of allowing everyone to open the folders, you only give permissions to the people you want accessing it.
